This is Meghnath’s Story
MEGHNATH’S STRUGGLE
At just six years old, Meghnath’s world was fading into darkness. After a bad fall left him with cataracts in both eyes, simple joys like playing with friends and going to school became impossible.
His family, struggling to make ends meet, couldn’t afford the surgery he desperately needed.
A Journey to Sight
With help from CBM supporters, Meghnath and his father traveled to a CBM-supported hospital. There, doctors performed sight-saving surgery, restoring vision in his right eye.
Just one day after his surgery, something incredible happened. As the nurse removed the bandage from his right eye, Meghnath blinked and looked up at his father’s face.
For the first time in over a year, he could see clearly. “I can see your face!” he said.
